2025 Journey of Remembrance and Celebration
Day 1: Arrival in Berlin – Sunday, April 20th

Morning: Arrival at Berlin Tegel Airport. Transfer to the hotel and check-in.

Afternoon: Visit the Jewish Museum Berlin for an immersive somatic movement class, followed by a walking tour of the Berlin Holocaust Memorial.

Evening: Dinner at a traditional German restaurant, with an optional night out to explore Berlin's vibrant nightlife.
Day 2: Discovering Berlin's History – Monday, April 21st

Morning: Guided tour of the Topography of Terror Museum, an in-depth look at Nazi terror during World War II.

Afternoon: Visit the Wannsee Conference House, followed by lunch by Lake Wannsee.

Evening: Participate in a somatic outdoor site-specific dance experience, followed by dinner at a modern European bistro.
Day 3: Transition to Warsaw – Tuesday, April 22nd

Morning: Flight from Berlin to Warsaw, with a scenic train journey to Kielce.

Afternoon: Shofar Dance Parade in Kielce, then travel to Kraków to visit the Plaszow Nazi Concentration Camp site.

Evening: Dinner as a March of the Living delegation and a night out in Kraków.
Day 4: Camps in Kraków – Wednesday, April 23rd

Morning: Visit "The Labyrinth" – Artwork of Polish Auschwitz. Travel to and tour Auschwitz/Birkenau.

Afternoon: Return to Kraków.

Evening: Participate in a Dance for the Dead ecstatic dance at the Galicia Museum in Kraków to welcome the remembrance day.
Day 5: Yom HaShoah March – Thursday, April 24th

Morning: Travel to the Auschwitz Jewish Center to preserve the memory of the Jewish community that existed in the city of Oswiecim (Auschwitz).

Afternoon: Participate in the Worldwide March of the Living: March from Auschwitz to Birkenau, followed by a ceremony in Birkenau.

Evening: Dinner and travel to Lublin.
Day 6: Exploring Lublin and Warsaw – Friday, April 25th

Morning: Visit the site of the Lublin Yeshiva, bringing learning and life back. Tour Majdanek Death Camp.

Afternoon: Tour Old Town Lublin and travel back to Warsaw. Check into the hotel.

Evening: Optional Friday night service, followed by Shabbat dinner and Shabbatic Dance.
Day 7: Shabbat in Warsaw – Saturday, April 26th

Morning: Optional Shabbat services followed by lunch as a group.

Afternoon: Walking tour of Jewish Warsaw, including the Ghetto Wall, Mila 18, and the Deportation Site.

Evening: Havdalah and Dance for the Dead reflection at Beit Warsaw.
Day 8: Remembrance and Reflection – Sunday, April 27th

Morning: Check out of the hotel and travel to Tykocin to experience "Life in the Shtetl." Visit the Lupochova Forest, the site of a mass grave, and engage in a Dance for the Dead session in the forest.

Afternoon: Tour Treblinka Death Camp and return to Warsaw.

Evening: Concluding dinner. Program ends after dinner; participants can return to the USA or continue to Israel for the next phase of the program.
Day 9: Arrival in Tel Aviv – Monday, April 28th

Morning: Welcome lunch in Tel Aviv.

Afternoon: Visit the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation.

Evening: Segway tour of Tel Aviv, followed by the Dance for the Dead Arrival Party.
Day 10: Erev Yom HaZikaron – Tuesday, April 29th – Tel Aviv

Morning: Visit the ANU Museum, the Museum of the Jewish People.

Afternoon: Lunch in Florentin at Levinsky Market, followed by a Graffiti Tour of Tel Aviv.

Evening: Dinner as a delegation and participation in the Siren and Erev Yom HaZikaron Ceremony.
Day 11: Yom HaZikaron – Wednesday, April 30th – Tel Aviv

Morning: Visit the Joseph Bau House, home of a Holocaust survivor who later worked as a graphic artist for the Mossad.

Afternoon: Attend the Siren at 11 a.m. at Rabin Square, then visit Beit Ha’edut at Moshav Nir Galim to learn about "The Role of Holocaust Survivors in the establishment of the State of Israel."

Evening: Celebrate Erev Yom Ha’atzmaut (Israel Independence Day) with dinner, communal celebration, and dancing.
Day 12: Yom Ha’atzmaut – Thursday, May 1st – Jerusalem

Morning: Check out of the hotel and travel to Jerusalem.

Afternoon: Visit Har Herzl, Israel’s National Military Cemetery, to pay homage to IDF soldiers and victims of terror. Participate in the March of the Living Ceremony from Safra Square to the Kotel (Western Wall).

Evening: Travel to Latrun for the Mega Concluding Event, including a Worldwide March of the Living dinner and event. The program officially concludes after the mega-event (approximately 10:00 p.m.), with options to return to the hotel or airport based on individual travel plans.
